Description

After a case has been reloaded a few times it will stretch beyond maximum length and must be trimmed.
Check and trim cases using the Lee Cutter and Lock Stud in combination with the Lee Case Length Gauge and Shell Holder.

The piloted cutter assures the case mouths are absolutely square and true to the case neck. The fixed length design assures it will never go out of adjustment.

You can trim cases by hand, with the help of an electric drill or in combination with the Lee Zip Trim (Lee Product Number 90899).
The Lee Cutter and Lock Stud works on all brass less than .475 base diameter.

Instructions

Cutter and Lock Stud Instructions
Cutter and Lock Stud to be used in combination with Lee Case Length Gauge of the correct caliber.

The Shell Holder included with the Lee Case Length Gauge is attached to the Lock Stud.
Slide the Case into the Shell Holder and lock it in place with the Lock Stud.
The Lee Case Length Gauge is attached in the Cutter.
Insert the Lee Case Length Gauge into Case, with the Pin in the Flash Hole, and rotate the Cutter as long until no more material is being removed.
If no metal is removed, the Case does not need to be trimmed.

Hex shank of the Lock Stud can be installed in a drill to spin the Case.
Case can be chamfered inside and outside with a Chamfer Tool.
